Artist Statement:

This new abstract collection began with inspiration from Pantone's color of the year, Viva Magenta. Pantone describes the color as "bold & fearless, a pulsating color who's exuberance promotes a joyous and optimistic celebration, writing a new narrative." 

​

Viva magenta does just that within the encaustics artworks. The bold and fearless texture of the wax sends out an invitation to your tactile senses, wanting you to reach out and touch the work. The collection allows you to write your own narrative and be yourself. With these pieces you can freely interchange the artwork to create a new energy or mood in your space. Almost all of the works can be arranged numerous ways creating multiple works of art within one or two pieces.

My hope with this collection is for you to see there is always more than one direction. Live boldly, embrace possibilities all while filled with joy & optimism.
