After a couple of years in Minnesota, she relocated to Portland, Oregon, and spent fifteen years living out west. Alexis moved back to her home state of Wisconsin in 2016 and lives and works out of Green Bay, WI.
The unique and versatile medium of encaustic inspires her fine artwork. The mix of old and new has always been something she has been drawn to. Her works showcase her love for modern and antique.
Alexis' encaustic artwork has been shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout Wisconsin.
Her daughter and blue healer dog keep her busy. When she is not spending time with them, she plays with fire and wax in her studio space. She loves helping others grow and succeed in what they love to do. She founded the non-profit Art Connective to help artists navigate the art world. She shares her entrepreneurship experiences and knowledge with online courses and on social media through Art Connective.
